Minimum Viable Hospital is a healthcare cyber resilience YouTube series hosted by Josh Howell. The series exists to help healthcare leaders better prepare for, respond to, and recover from cyber incidents while protecting patient care continuity.

Unlike traditional cybersecurity content that focuses on prevention, the series focuses on resilience, recovery, and the practical realities healthcare organisations face when systems go down.

The goal was to build a recognised thought leadership platform around healthcare cyber resilience and establish Minimum Viable Hospital as a trusted source of knowledge for healthcare CIOs, CISOs, cybersecurity leaders, and executive decision-makers.

The series needed to move beyond generic cybersecurity discussions and create meaningful conversations around ransomware recovery, operational continuity, and patient safety while building long-term authority in a highly specialised niche.

We recognised early that this was not a mass-market content play.

Healthcare cyber resilience is a highly specialised topic where trust, expertise, and credibility matter more than vanity metrics. Success would come from attracting the right audience, featuring the right voices, and creating content that healthcare leaders would genuinely learn from and share.

Our strategy focused on combining respected industry experts, practical recovery conversations, and professional YouTube production to create a platform capable of becoming a go-to resource within the healthcare resilience community.

Within the first five months, the series generated more than 3,060 YouTube views and grew its audience from 8,802 to 9,183 subscribers, adding 381 new subscribers within a highly specialized healthcare cyber resilience niche. More importantly, the channel gained 142 subscribers in May despite publishing no new long-form episodes, demonstrating that the content library had become an evergreen authority-building asset.

The series brought together 10 recognized healthcare cyber resilience leaders, including CIOs, CISOs, cybersecurity experts, and healthcare executives, creating a platform for meaningful industry knowledge sharing.

Today, Minimum Viable Hospital stands as more than a YouTube series. It has become a growing thought leadership platform that helps healthcare leaders learn from one another, share real-world resilience experiences, and advance the conversation around protecting patient care during cyber incidents.

"As a first-time YouTuber, I was nervous about creating content, but FAME guided me through every step. They transformed our rough videos into professional content, helped with everything from audio and video setup to thumbnails and publishing strategy, and made the entire process easy. It was a great experience, and I'd highly recommend working with them."
