“I think people don’t talk enough about how hard it is to be a founder. And I think it’s a very important thing. If you’re trying to make a lot of money, starting a company is not necessarily the safest bet or the easiest. And I think we were very lucky at Branch and we’ve had a really awesome journey, and it has been incredibly hard as well.”

Mada is the CEO and co-founder of Upside, a next-gen revenue intelligence platform for B2B leaders. Before Upside, Mada co-founded and was the CMO of Branch, the mobile deep linking and measurement platform, and helped bring them to 100M+ in revenue.

Born and raised in Romania, Mada came to the US to study Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cornell University and then earned her Master of Engineering and MBA from Stanford.

Mada enjoys playing the latest viral mobile games, binge-watching the hottest sci-fi shows, investing in women founders as a partner for XFactor Ventures, and sits on the Branch board. Additionally, Mada organizes a yearly retreat for 100+ women founders.
