Fame Podcast Host
Brandon Li is the co-founder of Power and host of Power to the Patients, a podcast where researchers, biotech leaders, clinicians, clinical operations experts and patient advocates get into what it actually takes to move medical research forward. The conversations span everything from neuroscience and psychedelics to trial design, patient recruitment, biomarkers, decentralized studies and the stubborn operational problems that can stand between promising science and the people who need it.
Brandon came to clinical research through a deeply personal route. A close friend developed a brain tumor before she was 30 and had to navigate the complicated process of finding and enrolling herself in a promising clinical trial. Watching her experience helped inspire Power, which Brandon co-founded to make discovering and accessing clinical research simpler and more transparent for patients.
Even today, one question continues to guide his work: does this make research work better for patients?
Ask me
- 1
Why is locating and enrolling in clinical trials challenging?
- 2
What did your friend's brain cancer trial experience reveal about system gaps?
- 3
Why do trials struggle with recruitment despite patient interest?
- 4
Where can technology enhance patient experience versus requiring human interaction?
