Fame Crew by country
Video and Photo Crews in Kuwait
The short answer
Fame Crew provides vetted local videographers and photographers in Kuwait, based around Kuwait City, for corporate interviews, conferences and investment or development stories. One production manager runs the shoot from brief to delivery. Confirm filming and drone approvals with the relevant authorities before booking, and do not plan around aerial footage until it is cleared.

Filming here: what to know
The kinds of shoot Kuwait usually calls for
Most business shoots in Kuwait are planned around people and buildings rather than large crowds: an interview with a senior leader, a development or investment story, a company's regional team, or a conference at a hotel or venue. These jobs reward a quiet, professional approach. Everyone in the room may be senior, and a crew that is noisy or careless reflects badly on the organisation that hired it.
That is what Fame Crew's vetting is designed to check. We only work with shooters who have experience in corporate and B2B settings, and who know how to dress, how to speak to a CEO and when to be invisible. You see their portfolio before anything is confirmed, and a pre-shoot call introduces them properly.
Confirm approvals before you book flights
Filming and drone rules are not set out on this page, and third-party summaries can conflict, so do not rely on them. Before planning any filming outdoors, or any aerial shots, confirm the position with the relevant Kuwaiti authority, your local office or your host organisation.
It is most useful to take these points to that conversation:
- The exact addresses, and who controls each location.
- Whether any filming is outdoors or includes public spaces.
- Whether any government building, security site or critical infrastructure may appear in shot.
- How the footage will be used and who is publishing it.
- Whether any aerial shots are wanted.
- Whether any equipment or staff will come in from abroad.
Working with government-facing clients
Projects connected to government bodies or major institutions often need more sign-off than a typical corporate shoot. Expect approval for the interviewee, the location and sometimes the final edit. Name the person responsible for each of these in your brief, and build in time for them to respond.
It also helps to send interview questions early, and to agree who appears in shot and in what order. Protocol matters, so ask your host how senior figures should be addressed, seated and credited. Check spelling and titles in Arabic and English before any on-screen text goes into an edit. If the interview is in Arabic, tell us when you ask for a quote so that this is considered in the crew match and the edit.
Timing a shoot
Kuwait's working week usually runs Sunday to Thursday, while our quote turnaround of about 2 hours applies Mon-Fri. If your shoot falls at the start of the local week, send your details early. Remember that a Friday may not be a working day for the person you want to interview.
Summer heat makes outdoor filming difficult, so morning starts or indoor locations are usually a better option in the hottest months. During Ramadan, business hours change, and a long midday shoot may not suit people who are fasting. Your local contact can suggest the best times.
Keeping it simple for visiting teams
If you are based elsewhere and only need Kuwait for one leg of a regional project, using a separate supplier for each country adds a lot of work. Fame Crew provides one point of contact and one invoice across cities. You can use the same brief, branding notes and shot list for each stop, which makes it more likely that the footage will edit together cleanly.
Ideally, someone from your team will attend to approve the frame and look after VIPs. If nobody can travel, the brief sets out exactly what you need and what should be avoided, and you can review a first cut when you are back at your desk.
Footage, rights and paperwork
Edited assets can be delivered within 48 hours. If you need the original files, for example to meet a client's archive requirements, we can transfer raw footage through a secure link or on a hard drive. Once your invoice is settled, your company holds full commercial rights to both the edited assets and the raw footage.
Our crew can sign an NDA before arriving, and our partners carry liability insurance to satisfy venue requirements. Tell us if your venue needs a Certificate of Insurance beforehand. For prices, see the pricing page. Your quote is fixed before you commit.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do not assume so. Confirm it with the relevant authorities first, and tell us when you ask for a quote. Any aerial work is subject to local flight rules.
Only if your quote says so. Tell us the location and what you plan to film, and ask for it to be addressed.
