The Pursuit of Home is all about helping people navigate the emotional, practical, and financial sides of homeownership. Hosted by Scott Harris, it features real stories from buyers, investors, and experts, offering support, insight, and inspiration for anyone thinking about buying or selling a home.

Scott wanted to take The Pursuit of Home to the next level, growing the podcast’s audience, improving production, and using it as a powerful platform to launch his book of the same name. He also hoped to bring in more homebuyer voices, not just industry pros, to keep things authentic and relatable.

We kicked things off by taking full ownership of logistics, editing, and publishing to keep the show on track. We built a guest outreach tracker from scratch and reached out to a wide range of potential guests, fine-tuning our approach as Scott’s goals evolved. That included rewriting outreach messages, updating our process for episode prep, and prioritising homebuyer voices.

We also supported Scott with his launch goals by revamping the podcast’s look and feel, refreshing the intro/outro, improving snippets, giving a fresh look to the artwork design, and designing an animated hook for better discoverability.

A pivotal moment for "The Pursuit of Home" came with the implementation of several key enhancements designed to captivate new listeners and amplify reach. We completely revitalised the podcast's aesthetic and structure, introducing enhanced intros and outros, creating a brand new animated hook, and improving the overall episode design and artwork.

Simultaneously, we developed a tailored paid advertising proposal specifically targeting increased downloads and visibility within the US. Securing client approval for a dedicated $500/month campaign and coordinating its implementation across platforms like MowPod and YouTube marked a significant acceleration in the podcast's growth trajectory, proving our adaptable and results-driven strategy.

Since partnering with Fame, The Pursuit of Home has grown in professionalism, consistency, and reach. Scott can now focus on meaningful conversations and growing his brand, while we handle the day-to-day. The production is smoother, the content is stronger, and more listeners are tuning in each week.

We’ve also worked hard on guest diversity, bringing in first-time buyers, investors, and trusted experts, and our promo efforts (both organic and paid) are helping get the word out.
