Careers
Writer
Fancy joining our 100% remote, 100% fabulous B2B podcasting team?
The role in short
- You write the words around the podcast: intros, outros, episode descriptions and show notes that people actually finish.
- SEO show notes that earn the search traffic without reading like they were written for a crawler.
- Blogs, newsletters, social posts and promo copy that turn one recorded conversation into a fortnight of content.
- Voiceover scripts, ad copy and landing page copy when a show needs them.
- Editing transcripts into something a busy reader will use.
The key attributes that we will be looking for in applicants
- You have written B2B before and you know why it is harder than it looks.
- You can move between a fintech show and a healthcare one in an afternoon and sound credible in both.
- Your spelling and grammar are genuinely reliable, not spellcheck-reliable.
- Native English, or indistinguishable from it in writing.
- You take an edit well and you edit yourself first.
Some nice-to-haves
- You have written for podcasts, so you know how a script sounds read aloud.
- You are organised to an unreasonable degree.
- You have opinions about how B2B companies waste their content budget.
What the job isnāt
- It is not a place to prompt an AI and paste the output. We can tell, our clients can tell, and search engines increasingly can too.
- It is not one house voice. You are writing as somebody elseās brand, dozens of times over, and each one has to sound like them rather than like you.
Whatās in it for you
- Range. Few writing jobs put this many industries in front of you in a month.
- Your work goes out under brands people have heard of, and you can see what it does in the numbers.
- 100% remote, permanently, judged on output rather than hours.
The business world is changing

- Fit work around life
- Treat staff like customers
Client Client Client
Without the client, we are nothing. The client has trusted us with their business, cash, and career. We must do the best work we possibly can to repay this faith.
Action Bias
We value doing something over doing nothing. Because when you do something, you learn. And the more we learn, the better we get. Better to ask for forgiveness than beg for permission.
Growth Obsessed
We love to grow our clients' podcasts, their businesses, and ourselves personally. This is a flywheel that will propel our business forward.
Operational Excellence
Clients pay us to grow their brands. Growing their brand with our process is complex. If we are going to be able to serve clients well we must ensure our operation runs as smoothly and with as little waste as possible.
Now, tell me about Fame
Fame is a group of audio and marketing geeks that produce the world's most profitable podcasts. We work with B2B businesses like Workday, Alibaba, eToro, U.S. Steel, CXL, LeanData, Branch, and IDEO to start and grow podcasts that profit.
We are 100% remote, and work hard to support our lifestyles. We have 71 people in the team right now, and we speak a total of thirteen different languages!
- 1We are and will always be 100% remote.
- 2We donāt really care how many hours you work as long as you perform.
- 3We are militant about our project management and communication processes and documentation.
