Crowdin, a leading localization management platform, wanted to create something more than just a marketing channel, they envisioned Agile Localization, a high-quality podcast dedicated to delivering educational, industry-specific insights to localization professionals. Hosted by Stefan Huyghe, a seasoned localization expert and third-party ambassador for Crowdin, the show needed to be efficient, polished, and scalable - without placing heavy demands on internal resources.
That’s where Fame stepped in.
From the outset, one of the primary challenges was that Stefan, while closely aligned with Crowdin, is not an internal team member. This made streamlined collaboration and communication critical. Fame established a shared Slack channel to keep Crowdin and Stefan connected in real time. We also guided Stefan through setting up a professional-grade recording setup, including coaching on microphones, software, and remote interview best practices, to ensure studio-quality audio from the very first episode.
To simplify scheduling, we built a customized Calendly system integrated with SMS reminders and automated workflows. This allowed Stefan to easily manage bookings with potential guests, while Fame handled the rest - from pre-interview logistics to post-production and ongoing guest engagement.

Once episodes are recorded, our team transforms them into a multi-format content engine. Each episode of Agile Localization is released as a polished podcast, complete with long-form video, video snippets, blog content, and branded assets, ready for distribution across Crowdin’s marketing channels. This strategic repurposing drives brand awareness far beyond the podcast platforms.
Since launch, Agile Localization has not only delivered consistent, high-value educational content but has also become a recognized voice in the localization space. Crowdin has received praise and recognition at major events, including LocWorld53 in Malmö. Even more tellingly, the podcast has sparked demo requests and product interest directly via social media comments on our repurposed content.
While for most podcasts, a 70% Apple Average Consumption rate would be considered very good, Agile Localization is currently sitting on 94%, a real stand-out achievement!
With Agile Localization, Crowdin has cemented its position as a thought leader in the localization industry. The podcast is efficient to run, professional in execution, and valuable to its audience - exactly what Crowdin set out to achieve. And with Fame handling the heavy lifting, Crowdin and Stefan can focus on what they do best: sharing world-class insights with a global audience.
