Confessions Of An Implementer: Beating The Game

A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing! Breaking into an Exclusive Niche

Ranking 43rd
In the UK for Entrepreneurship

Confessions of an Implementer, powered by Talent Harbor, was born from a clear and focused vision: to build deep relationships within the implementer community — a critical network for scaling businesses. Ryan Hogan, a passionate implementer advocate at Talent Harbor, partnered with Fame in January 2024 to turn this goal into reality. The mission was specific and ambitious: to connect meaningfully with 100 implementers through the launch and growth of a purpose-driven podcast.

Launched in April 2024, Confessions of an Implementer quickly made its mark, ranking in the top 50 UK Entrepreneurship podcasts within weeks. By the end of May, the show had also ranked strongly in the Management category, and even the extremely competitive Business category, underscoring rapid audience engagement and validating the strong demand for real-world implementer insights.

But most importantly — the core objective was achieved: 100+ implementer relationships were built. The podcast became a vehicle not just for audience growth but for tangible, strategic connections, exactly as planned.

This highlights an important truth: not every podcast needs to run indefinitely. At Fame, we recognize that success is defined by your goals — whether that’s community building, lead generation, brand positioning, or all of the above. In this case, Confessions of an Implementer serves as a blueprint for how a time-bound, mission-focused podcast can deliver massive ROI.

Beyond community building, the podcast also delivered significant business outcomes. Ryan directly secured multiple new clients and received numerous referrals from guests — further proving the power of an expertly managed podcast strategy.

“We beat the game (that main boss wasn't shit!). Our goal when we set out on Confessions of an EOS Implementer ("EOS" yes, cause f*** 'em) was to build 100 amazing relationships with EOSIs within a year. We did better: it was 101 by Dec 31st (9mos?). The referral engine is strong — and we've accomplished our goal. As such, our strategies and tactics are evolving”
