“Should I start my own podcast or become a guest on others?”
Ideally, both.
But if you're not sure whether you'll like “this audio format”, start with guesting on others.
💥 First, you'll quickly find out if you enjoy talking to a microphone. :)
💥 Second, you'll become a better speaker (and a listener).
💥 Third, your message will become concise and clear.
All of this will happen within the first couple of interviews.
Starting a podcast, on the other hand, requires a lot of commitment.
And whilst I'm a huge fan of podcasting (obviously), starting your own without knowing if you'll like it isn't the best decision.
Why?
It just takes a lot of time to get things going.
And if you want to do it yourself, it will get overwhelming pretty quickly.
Many of our customers have decided to go the “Guesting First” route.
They fell in love with appearing on podcasts.
And after a couple of months, they've made an informed decision to go ALL INTO their own show too.
It's up to you.
Just make sure you don't waste your time and money on something you might not enjoy.
Hope this helps! :)
