Born and raised in a small village in the heart of Brittany in the north-west corner of France, he developed an early passion for creation and construction, influenced by his father’s carpentry business. Aged 8, he built his first three-story, 60m² hut with basement and galleries foreshadowing his future innovative spirit.
After studying electronics, networks, and telecommunications in Lannion, Quentin pursued computer science, launching his first entrepreneurial ventures in B2C mobile applications at age 18. He later co-founded Crisp.chat with 2 of his university classmates.
His educational journey led him to the prestigious School 42 in Paris, where he further honed his technical skills. At Lab42 in Veepee, Quentin met Thomas and Clément and joined forces with them to create the world’s best enterprise search engine.
Today, he continues to execute on this vision as the CEO of Meilisearch.
